What started a few years ago as a personal hobby has naturally blossomed into Slemish Fungi. I discovered a genuine passion for growing mushrooms and the incredible culinary possibilities they bring to the kitchen.
Located in the shadow of Slemish Mountain, our family farm is deeply connected to its environment. The unique microclimate and historic surroundings continuously inspire our work. We approach mushroom cultivation without shortcuts—treating it as a dedicated craft. By utilizing sustainable, local wood pellets for our substrates, we recreate the perfect natural conditions for our fungi to thrive.
We grow what we love to eat. Our mission is simple: to share that passion with our community by providing clean, healthy, and exceptionally fresh mushrooms, grown with absolute dedication.

We were lucky enough to try some of the blue Oyster and King Oyster mushrooms this week - absolutely delicious! We added a few herbs and spices and fried them, then served in warm flatbreads with dips and salad, they had a beautiful meaty texture and tasted wonderful! We're keen to repeat it again soon and experiment with other dishes! I'll definitely be ordering again.

Ruby Lorimer
Incredibly fresh and high-quality mushrooms! I bought some of their mushrooms this weekend, and they were pristine—completely different from what you get at a standard grocery store. The owner was also super helpful and gave me great advice on how to store them so they stayed fresh. Will definitely be a regular customer!
